2.2.1 Fabric finish
The product itself is not toxic.
If the fabric product is used as intended, so far no impairments of health have become known. If being used at temperatures between approximately 130°C and 190°C the applied finish may evaporate or decompose.
If the product is intended for use in special applications (e.g. in the food industry or in the hygiene, medical or surgery sectors) special requirements specific to application should be investigated.
2.2.2 There are only dyestuffs used, which -according to suppliers information- cannot release amines of MAK classes III A1 or III A2 or which are indicated as carcinogens.

3. Hazards identification
We believe that there exists no risk to the health of employees if the fabric product is processed and handled properly.
4. First aid measures
A hazard caused by the inhalation of the product is unlikely, Therefore, no special treatment is necessary. Fiber fly, dust and decomposition products of the finishes are to be avoided by means of removal by suction and ventilation. If exposed to excessive levels of fiber dust or fly, remove to fresh air and get medical attention if cough or other symptoms develop.
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.

5. Fire fighting measures
5.1 Flammable properties
Unusual fire and explosion hazards: Accumulation of fiber dust and fly at sufficient concentrations could present a fire hazard. Keep away ignition sources. Do not forget the effects of electrostatic charge.
